Windshield Wiper Annoyance
Is there any way that I can make my wipers TURN OFF when I ACTUALLY turn them off? As much as I love the squeaky sound of rubber on glass, I would prefer if they didn't go through like 10 or more rotations before they actually shut off. Any help?

Anyone? The delay and high and low work. They just don't shut off when I want them too

You sure you're not accidentally hitting the washer bottle switch and the wipers go for 3-4 more wipes? I was doing this thinking I was just hitting the quick wipe, which rotates opposite.

Positive. It even goes annoyingly wrong when I hit the washer pump switch.

The only time you should have unwanted wiper action is when you release the WASH switch.
It’s normal for 3 additional passes to occur.
10 under any circumstances is abnormal.
We believe you have a defective park mechanism which is borderline functioning.
Remove the motor cover, jump the connections that were disconnected by removing the cover, then operate the wiper, then turn the Wiper Switch to OFF, and see if the latch arm springs out and catches the drive pawl.
