1987 IROC engine compartment wireing ID
Almost finished with installing a replacement engine in my 1987 IROC, was a basket case. Need help in identifying these remaining connectors, where do the go to. Black connector has pink with black stripe and solid black. The brown connector has solid orange and tan with white stripe. Hopefully you can give me some insight.

Pink w black stripe = ECM ckt 12V
Black = ground
Sounds like that one is the "mystery" connector everybody comes across sooner or later; doesn't plug into anything, but rather, was probably used at the factory for some sort of testing (would allow externally the entire ECM system as a stand-alone)
Don't know the other offhand. Would help if you told where it is and where it breaks out of the main harness.

Brown connector- oil pressure switch for fuel pump, located under the distributor.
Colors on the "mystery" connector correspond to esc connector on the diagram. Bottom left of the page.

Re: 1987 IROC engine compartment wireing ID
Thanks for the speedy reply, as suggested I'm attaching another picture of the brown connecter location. It's right next to the distributor coming out of the main harness. Very hard to see but it comes out of the harness right in front of where the oil sending units is located. I'm sure as I get closer to testing everything else before starting motor, I will be asking other questions as well.
Thanks everyone for your help.
