86 tpi maf in a 91 RS need advise
Hi need some imput on my project car, first a little back ground i am 60 years old and enjoy my Chevies 57 chevy truck and car I restored and installed tpi engines.Made my own harnesses from junk cars. My dilema is I have a nice vette engine from a 86 that I want to install in my 91 rs with bad 305 tbi. I purchased an uncut?? tpi harness for an 87 camaro as the vette one is too short and had been cut. Looking over the harnesses I see my tbi harness runs over to bulk head connector, how do I unplug this thing. also my 87 harness has no bulkhead plug,So I am assuming I l have to use parts of both of these. any one no where I can get good diagrams of the connector wire identifications also some nice wiring diagrams would be nice .my repair manual has them they are small and not much help. I want to use the maf system as I have a mild cam I installed. Any advise, any one else did a similar conversion, tips, places to get good diagrams would sure be appreciated Thanks Mike

This is a great thread but the pictures have died, however, the text on how to disassemble (unplug) is still there.
The engine harness will also run through pass fender. You will need a TPI ECM (90-92). I don't know if the Corvette and Camaro ECMs interchange.
