New ignition aftermath???

Changed the ignition cylinder #totallysucks. Anyhoo now, any time the key is in the ignition, the buzzer sounds. Oh and also I can now start the car withouth the clutch depressed. Anybody ever have this issue? No key in the ignition if I put the lights on the buzzer sounds and goes off like normal so the buzzer isn't broke. Suggestions please???

For the starting without the clutch, sounds like you pulled on the clutch switch while you were working on it. Try to adjust it. As far as the buzzer, still sounds with ignition on or door closed? I may be of no help there.

Gain access to the Audio Alarm Assembly.

One at a time disconnect pins B, D, E, G, at the assembly.

When the tone stops you have found the problem circuit.

To gain access to the Audio Alarm Assembly remove the knee bolster.

You’ll find the Audio Alarm Assembly in the ‘Convenience Center’, which is to the right of the steering column.

Happy Racing !

Re: New ignition aftermath???

Thanks for the pinout. I believe the new cylinder is out of box broken. The internal connection in the new lock cylinder must be stuck. So I just unplugged the buzzer. Maybe one day here I'll go through and find the correct pin and remove it so I still have a door and headlight buzzer.
