Can 1992 gauge cluster work in 1988
I haven worked 350 carb ,I did a t5 swap, I need to get a speedo working since the trans has a electronic sender, and really wood like to keep a stock looking cluster even if not from the same year and I know that re wiring will be nessity
So does it fit and has anybody done this
Thanks

The 92 cluster is electronic and, of course, is a different shape altogether, so fitment would require major mods to your dash.

I tried doing that with a unit from a salvage yard and some things worked and some didn't. i think some of the circuits may be different but the cluster may have just been bad. And yeah the dash won't really look right and I'm not sure the side panels will fit either so it may not be worth the effort even though it's a much more attractive cluster. Anyone else tried?
