battery problem
So I got a new battery 3 months ago and my mom left the electric fuel pump switch on so it wouldnt start I jumped it but now every time I gotta jump it, it will go somewhere but as soon as I shut it off for any amount of time it needs to be jumped again? Shouldnt it be fine is it something else?

Re: battery problem
I'm thinking that either the deep cycling of the battery made it so it doesn't hold a charge properly, or you may have some sort of parasitic draw like a short to ground that is draining it. You may want to go have the battery tested, a lot of places have free testing that tells you if the battery is still in good shape or not.

Re: battery problem
when you kill a battery like that to "zero", it normally makes a cell in the battery go bad so it won't hold a charge. I'd take your battery back to wherey ou bought it and get it replaced for free since its still in the "warranty" stage of it. Another thing you can do is take it to Autozone or Oreilly's or the like, they'll test your battery for free.
Since the car runs once jumped, you know for a fact that your charging system and alternator is working as it's supposed to.
