Turn signal help.

I just got a 1984 Camaro. The turn signals where slow but still blinked, also when the head lights where on the turn signals did NOT blink. I replaced the flasher in the "convience" center and still the same issue, slow blink's and no blinking when head lights are on. Any help would be usefull.

Re: Turn signal help.

Just taking a shot in the dark here, but maybe it's a bad ground? I assume the car uses the regular bimetalic strip type blinker, so my thinking is that it's not heating up as fast with not the proper current going through it. How bright are the turn signals/headlights?

Once again, not experienced with it at all but just trying to think through it.
