1982 Trans Am fuel sender wire
How do I disconnect the wire from the fuel sender on the tank?
The ground looks welded on, but can the sender wire be disconnected?

** Only for 82-84 Thirdgens.
Climb under the rear end,... drivers side. You will see the fuel gauge wires leading from behind the rear impact bar / bumper cover to the top of the tank. There is a 2-wire plug clipped to the body in this area that can be dissconnected.
