Led/projector lights

Led/projector lights
I want to swap all my exterior factory lights with LED lights for the rear and turn signals and a set of projector lights for the headlights from here

My question will they directly plug into the existing sockets and will they work without messing up the existing wiring I ask that because after watching the episode of Fast N Loud where they built a KITT car from tV's Knightrider they used LED lights for the new taillights and it completely screwed up everything but when the put the regular bulbs back it worked fine
Was it just that Trans am or the different lights?
