I bought the sunpro super tach II and could not figure out where the tach wire on the 1991 caprice might be. I attached pictures from the ignition coil. Noticed one pin not present, is this where i connect the green wire of the tach since my car has no factory tach ?

Thanks a lot Bob88GTA. I did search many places, everywhere it said white wire and even the wiring diagram i have says white wire at ignition coil, the list of cars i got with the tach had camaro and the 305 has a white wire, so you can imagine my confusion. willexoIX, since camaro's have 305's i figured there must be some similarities.

 

I understand that, but there is a Caprice forum that would have answered your question. Instead of adding a thread to this forum that has no technical information about a third gen.
