ICM, (Ignition Control Module)

Sorry for the long story, but I picked up 3 ICMs last fall at a yard sale on the cheap. They came in broken packages, but look new. Lady running the yard sale couldn't tell me anything, as expected. Seems her and her husband had split sheets. Anyway I can't find any info on how to check them if they are good or bad without having to actually install them. Surely they can be checked for resistance using an Ohm meter across contacts....No...Yes...?
Anybody have any info on how would be greatly appreciated. Thanks in advance.
