I have an 1984 Trans Am originally with the L69 H.O. engine. I'm looking for the oem part number for the oil pressure sending unit. It's 80 psi and has a 3 prong connector. The original sender failed and leaked. I threw it away before checking for a part number.

Classic industries sells one. Should be part number PS133.

I've looked at those, but they're not correct. The one I'm looking for looks like the one in the photo. Evrything I've found is rated for 60 psi. The T/A uses an 80 psi sender.

It's an 80 psi sender, but that part number is a single prong sender. I did some searching last night and found part number 10045775. This is an 80 psi sender and is 3 prong for the fuel pump shut off. Thanks to those who offered their assistance.

Yes, that's what basically all listings show. But I can tell you that I've owned this car since new. I bought it in Sept of 1984 and it came from the factory with the 3 blade sender. I've replaced it once about 25 years ago and when I did, I ran into the same issues I have now. Every place saying that it's a one blade sender. I lended up at the local Pontiac dealer and the guy behind the counter said the same thing. When I told him that it was a 3 blade, he came out to the car and checked the RPO code decal in the glovebox. From there he was able to get me the correct one. I'm not sure what RPO code he looked for, but I do know that the 80 psi, 3 blade sender is correct for this car. It's a model end year car built in June of 1984 and I believe that has something to do with it.
