How do you route your battery tender's power cord?
I searched around but was unable to find any info on this subject. I use a ctek battery tender on my IROC as it sits in my garage 99% of the time. I originally used this unit in my c6 vette and that vehicle had a small notch on the door sill that allowed me to route the power cable out of the car and to the 110 outlet. My IROC does not appear to have this notch and I'd rather not connect it directly to my battery or sandwich the wire between the window and the seal or leave the window cracked open. I like the convenience of using the cig lighter as a connection point for the tender. How do you guys who store your cars through the winter and use the cig lighter as your connection route the power cord for your tenders into your cars? Thanks in advance.

Well that's a nice tender.
Can't you run it between the door jamb/fender?
I have a duel tender that goes to the batteries on two of mine, so I don't have that problem with the hood being popped.

Currently I have it running through the door jamb and keep the door latched but not completely closed, but I'm concerned bugs or lizards might decide the inside of my car is a nice place to be. I may try a thin extension cord in the door jamb and close the door on it completly. I don't like connecting to the battery because I'm afraid I may drive off with it attached.
