New To Site
Hi All,
I am new to the site and hope I'm doing this correct. I have a 1986 Iroc with a 1988 5.7 TPI here is were I stand on a few issues I'm experiencing.
I recently did a complete rebuild with the following mods:
Block is bored .30 over
Comp Cam - .480 (hyd roller)(Valve Springs & Lifters) Complete Kit
Malee Pistons
Accel Injectors - 28lbs
BBK Throtle Body - 58mm
Accel Distribitor
I'm sure I have forgot several things. Car starts and runs good, except the fact of a few codes:
22 - TPS (New)
33 - MAP (Don't Have on my year)
42 - EST
43 - ESC (Knock Sensor - New)
Thanks in advance.

No clue. Hang in there. Someone will chime in. Also, make sure you post the thread in the right column. Pretty sure there is a tpi column. you could always pull all that electric junk out and slap a 750 dp holly on her and never have a code again!!! lol

Re: New To Site
Dan,
I have since installed a new EST, Ignition Control Module, ECM. One thing I'm slightly confused about. When I set the timing, I unplugged the Advance wire (single tan w/black strip) by the heater blower. Then I read where you should only unplug the 4 pin plug off the ignition coil?
Any thoughts?
