Tach Light Help

Tach Light Help

Hey folks,

Bought a Summit racing tach light (SUM-G2945) for my 1983 Z-28. I spliced the green signal lead to "TACH" on the distributor and grounded the back wire. Its not working after I run power to a 12v source. Instructions state that power must be 12v Switched source. They recommend the ignition switch. Can someone please tell me exactly where I need to pull the switched power from. Thanks! I appreciate any help!

At this point Im just going to grab power and ground from the fuze box. in case its not power or ground can i take the tach signal from somewhere else?
