2 unidentified wires near starter.

So, thanks to some pictures and info i got on this forum, i managed to partially install a new (used) wiring harness and wire up my starter.

And it also works, i got the spark plugs out and the engine cranked (for the first time in how many years?

My question:

There is a whole bunch of wires that connect to the starter, the purple one and all the red ones.
But there is also a thin black wire and a thin white wire that come out of the wiring harness at the same spot. (i also saw this in a couple of pictures on this forum)

Where to they connect to?

Thanks for your help so far guys!

Help us help you. What car is this going into? What car did the harness come from? What year? What engine? Need a lot more info to be able to help!

The Harness is from a Camaro or Firebird with a TBI engine from an unknown year.
I saw a picture of someone else his starter elsewhere on this site and i also noticed the white wire.
(Picture included)
Thats why i thought: "Maybe these wires, like the red and purple wires are pretty common"

Thanks for looking into it, anyways

My thought is knock sensor and coolant fan switch. As far as which is which is beyond me. You might wanna check a manual before you hard wire it but this is the direction I am pointing you to.
