I recently ordered the 88-92 2-Wire style kit for my 92 RS. I'm impressed with it and got everything installed correctly (I think) but ran into an issue where my fuel pump wouldn't turn on. I did some trouble shooting and think I found the issue. I'm hoping someone else that installed this knows what's up.
The stock positive cable had a smaller cable branch off the terminal connection to this stud / plastic hub thing bolted just inboard next to the battery. This connected three other wires for the fan, fuel pump relay, and alternator charging wire. There is a wire on the Innovative set that seems to loop around on itself with a fuse holder and single pin weatherpack connector inline with it - I assume this was to replace the fusible link of the old alternator charging wire. But now there's nothing providing power to that hub anymore, which means no fuel pump. Was this appropriated for and I just missed something, or I'm I going to have to rewire the two left-out wires?
Here's a pic with all the connections I mentioned excluding the old alternator wire that was also connected to this mess. I've also sent an email to them and will update when they respond.
