Headlights not turning on

Just bought a 91 firebird in which the previous owner did a hackjob of a engineswap. I could go on and on about it. First things first, headlights worked when I bought it, and when I turn them on, they pop up, but they do not turn on. Replaced headlight switch and dimmer switch and nothing. Where are the areas I should look? They only thing I have done to the car before this happened was replaced the intake and the carb (PO installed a computer controlled quadrajet without being hooked up to an ECU and converted the choke to a manual choke, dunno why, don't ask me). Either way, runs, idles and drives like a scalded ape, but kinda need the headlights working as this is my only car for the time being.

PS, any way I can jump it? Checked the wiring that I could and it all looks intact and circuits look as if they are all there, is there some sort of fuse or relay or something I'm unaware of?

Re: Headlights not turning on

Parking lights, gauge lights, gauge lights dim when using the dimmer, chime works, everything but the headlights....

Re: Headlights not turning on

Weird, noticed my brights indicator was on, since level isn't making contact on stalk, had to remove cover under steering column, pulled it back with plyers and BLAM!!! and God said let there be light!!! Anyways, it's odd that would happen. Still gonna be a PITA to get the wiring sorted, hating using a toggle for the fuel pump and a push button starter and would love to get out the remnants of that wiring harness from the V6.
