No warning lights

Ok - need some help on this '84 Firebird. None of the engine warning lights on the dash are coming on. No Check Engine, Park brake , etc... I pulled the cluster and replaced all the lights. Lights are functional, but when you turn on the ignition, none of the check/ warning lights comes on. Car starts and runs fine. Any ideas?

When you turn the key to the START position do any of the gages peg?

If no, check for a broken ground connection at the ignition switch.

Re: No warning lights

The only gauge that really pegs is the temperature gage… I also noticed when I had the cluster out… I traced the track for the check engine light… And when I turned in the ignition to the on position, that terminal went from 0 to 0.64 V…

OK because the temp gage pegs we know that one ignition switch ground is good.

During engine start the Airbag Lamp is illuminated VIA the Airbag Module.

During engine start the Security Lamp is illuminated VIA the VATS module.

The Brake Warning Lamp is illuminated VIA another wafer in the ignition switch.

The SES Lamp is illuminated VIA the ECM.

The Seat Belt lamp is illuminated VIA the Audio Alarm Assembly located in the ‘Convenience Center’, which is to the right of the steering column.

Make sure both fuses, the GAGES fuse and the INST LPS fuse are good.

The balance of the lamps are not supposed to illuminate at engine start.

https://rover.ebay.com/rover/0/0/0?m...2F192429422098It is located in a little green box on the rhs. I believe it was either taped to the harness close to the ecm or it was underneath the trim panel on the dashboard below the map pocket where the rear window defrost relay is located This is on a ‘84 Firebird
