Wiper Speed

I have an 87 Trans am. When I turn on my wipers they only go on low speed. it doesn't matter what I have the selector set too. The other odd thing is once they are turned on I can't turn them off until I turn off the car. I have to kill the ignition for the system to shut down. They will stay on the windshield in the position they lost power in until I turn the ignition back on. Then they will go back into their rest position. It's very odd.

Help?

Re: Wiper Speed

Pulse board in the motor assembly is bad. Best to get a new motor.

Re: Wiper Speed

Alright, I was afraid of that. I'll have to pick up another motor and swap it when it gets a bit warmer. It's currently 9 degrees out. Thanks for the info.
