85 Z turn key nothing, back it off try again starts?
Hello everyone
While I was on here reading I noticed some people have a similar problem as me. When I turn my key to start the engine nothing happens, I then back my key off and try again and the engine cranks? Why is this?
I replaced the ignition switch in the car because of this problem but still it persists.
Now I feel like it may be an issue with my tilt column, due to the fact that if I move it around the car cranks first try.How would one even go about fixing this issue. It has me plum pissed off.
I do hope that someone may know of a solution in my haste and ignorance I did the "throw parts at the issue" and clearly that was foolish.
Any input would be useful, especially if you have had this issue thank you.
