Tach Board

Is it possible to just swap out a bad tach board for a working board? Or should a board and Tach unit be swapped together as a unit? Are they calibrated together or will work independently?

Re: Tach Board

Pretty sure that you can simply swap the tach board without any problems. You would have to use the same type of board,... V6-to-V6 or V8-to-V8 so the reading is accurate, but swapping similar boards should work.

Yes, I agree V8 for V8, but just trying to confirm. Has anyone tried this?
