Maybe someone can help me out with this issue, simply put, my speedo only works half the time. its literally off and on along with the odometer. I took it on the highway the other day and holds cruise control just fine without the speedo working so i guess the tranmission VSS is fine. just wondering if anones had the same problems of it working only half the time.

 

I just fixed mine recently, ended up being the pc board inside the gauge cluster.I picked up a used unit from ebay but it was weather beaten so I just replaced the pc board. My speedo was working but the odometer and trip odometer was on and off. Find a good working unit and just replace the gauge cluster. If you want to keep the original mileage of the car you have to change out the odometer assembly.

 

is that a hard project to do, to just replace the board? and what do i even search to find/buy it

 

Like I said better off just replacing the whole gauge cluster.
