What are the chances....

I accidently shorted out the ignition module in my 1987 IROC (305 TPI).
What are the chances that the pickup coil is toast as well?

Pickup Line

Once you have a good ICM in there disconnect the 4 terminal connector at the distributor.

If you then have spark replace the pickup coil.

Thx for the response - I ended up buying a new distributor. I couldn't get top magnetic "shell" the pickup coil sits in off to replace it - not even with a hammer.
Still having problems. I'm going to search & if I can't find anything useful I'll start a new post.
Thx again - I'll make a note of this in my book. Good to know.
