So I'm dumping money left and right into this money pit....checked codes before I bought it and came up code 34...simple enough I thought, so I bought a NEW MAF sensor for 150...fired it up it ran different and light stayed off so I'm like sweet....two starts later I got a code 36 now. Doesn't make any sense...any ideas?

Please list the make, model, year and engine (or eighth digit/letter of the VIN) of your car.
Where did you source a new MAF sensor from? Is it truly a new unit or a "remanufactured" one?
How was the engine running before you replaced the MAF sensor? How is the engine running after you replaced the MAF sensor?
What other kinds of expensive things have you already done to the car?

Engine ran rough and high idle prior to maf change...after maf change smoother and slower but hesitation on throttle press. Brand new Duralast MAF not reman. Little things like lift supports pigtails intakes temp senders fan relays....just adds up

MAF Update. I have been driving the car without issue until this week. Running down the highway 70 MPH cruse control on and engine dies. No warning, no faults just off. Pulled over and checked everything out. After 20 minutes of checking connections, spark, fuel pump, all obvious things I pulled the connector on the MAF. Engine fired up and I drove another hour and a half to my destination, with the check engine light. I called NAPA and they will stand behind the reman MAF I bought four months ago. I told them I would rather not get stuck on the side of the road with another reman, so I ordered a new Delphi. This is aggravating, anyone have good luck with the new Delphi's? not many options out there.
