82 Z28 My fuel tank sending unit is obsolete? Can I clean it?
My mechanic will have to ship my rusty one to New York and take three weeks for it to be cleaned otherwise.
I also have had my mechanic and his team and my family member mechanic look for this part but apparently 82, 83, and 84? Maybe are impossible to get sooooo...
I don't know what to do, ideas ethernet?

Clean Machine
Remove the sender, place it in a steel container, and soak the sender for 24 hours.
Use all the precautions you would for a flammable liquid.
