Wiring questions.

Im working on what was an 88 gta. I purchased the car sans a wiring harness in the engine and most of the interior harness missing.I have most the headlights and tail light harness still in the car. My question is what others may feel the best route to go. I don't plan on restoring this car. I am planning on a carburated 350 aftermarket gauges. Manual windows and door locks. Pretty much the plan is a street strip car. I have no interior at all and also plan on just putting in a dash seats and a carpet, leaving the car fairly stripped down. One thought was buying another harness and stripping what i dont need. Other thought is i have a universal painless 18 circuit sitting in the garage. Using that to power the car and calling it a day. I have no fuse box at this point so I pretty much have nothing.

Re: Wiring questions.

I think I would use the Painless wiring harness you have. Provided it has a fuse block.

My reasoning is why try to mess with what ever existing harness remains and then start head scratching when something doesn't work or catches fire.

Always keep reliability and safety in mind.

Re: Wiring questions.

Ok. So I got my hands on a harness but I'm in need of the c100. Looking around I'm confused as to what part number I need to order from mouser. I need the complete 100 and the pins.
