fuel pump wiring question

Hey guys, I have a 1985 trans am, the car has a carb atm, i am installing a holley sniper efi to the car, i have already installed the electric fuel pump in the tank and see there are three wires going from the connector i have found out with the help on this forum that the pink one goes to gauge the black is ground, but the tan wire is power, now being that the car was originally a carbed, where does this tan wire go, i want to tap into it for the fuel pump relay, i have traced it all the way to under the dash, it seems to connect to another connector with a lot of other wires, but from there i can seem to figure it out,

would it be possibly entering into engine compartment?

thanks

Re: fuel pump wiring question

I am working on an '85 TA right now, that wire stops at the 15pin connector (c207)
I am doing FI also.

Re: fuel pump wiring question

My reference shows C207 behind the IP on the passenger side; should be a 15-cavity connector near the ECM.

I am using a factory SD 350 and harness.
I think that fuel pump wire is in port "D" on the C207 (tan/wht)
