Tach gauge needle

When my car gets warm my tach gauge needle starts to bounce and it seems that is wants to stall out. Dont know is its the coil or what is going on. If anybody has had this to happen to them I need help figuring this out. Thanks

Re: Tach gauge needle

IS the tach just acting up or is the engine acting up? If it is just the tach maybe look at the tach sticky.

Re: Tach gauge needle

GMC trucks do this. Research on the internet says the baffle comes loose in the tank and then the fuel really sloshes around the sending unit. Gauge needle looks like windsield wipers.

The engine is acting up as well with the tach.
