bad static thru speakers with radio off
weird issue, while driving getting bad static thru speakers even with radio off, figuring a ground issue, anybody ever heard of this one ? 92 Z28

I'm having the same problem but mine stops when I turn off the radio. worse since i put in the new amp.

It's probably a bad ground, add in some ground wires. Also, if you ran the coaxial and power near each other, that can cause it as well. Cheap coaxials will do it too.

nothing been added car 100% stock, I loosened moved and tightened the ground off the battery and the one on the firewall and took out about 90% but still some there

comes from passenger side head to firewall, ground strap
