Just replaced the TBI 305 in my brothers base TBI 88 iroc that had sat at least 6 years. Go to start it and the only way to get it to start is to dump fuel down tb. We unplugged the pump and tried a known good pump and it didn't kick on either. We assume while it sat mice got to it(they got the engine harness). Anyone have a pump wiring schematic for the car?

Start by checking your fuses- There's a 20amp fuse in a weatherproof cap by the battery that controls the system

 

Thank you. We checked both the fuses plus tried jumping the relay. No juice

 

That's strange, you mean you jumped the relay with 12v from the battery? Doing that or plugging 12v to port G on the ALDL should force the pump to run...

 

I'm thinking mice got to the wiring

 

If they got to the engine harness it could be mice, trace the wiring and let us know what you find

 

Letting that wait till tomoro. Already had the fun of swapping flowmasters exhaust from the donor camaro WITHOUT dropping the pan hard bar lol
