turn signal switch on 1991 camaro
would my turn signal switch be bad if everything works except it wont switch to high beams,any help would be greatly appreciated

No, high/low is controlled by it's own switch further down the column under the dash, next to the ignition switch.
The high/low switch probably isn't bad either. What usually happens is the tilt pivot pins back out, the column gets sloppy loose and the rod that runs from the multifunction switch (turn signal stalk) falls out of it's pocket on the switch, or it just cant travel enough to activate the switch.
