Green "Systems OK" Light Not Working

After adjusting TPS sensor on E4ME Carburetor on 86 Camaro 305 V8 automatic trans. the "systems OK" lights does not come on. There were no codes being displayed before hand. I only replaced the TPS on the E4ME Carb. because I decided to rebuild my carburetor. But now my "Systems OK" light does not come on...anyone here have any ideas as to why this is happening please let me know.

Re: Green "Systems OK" Light Not Working

Did the TPS actually adjust? It is very easy to break the TPS stem while reinstalling the air horn.

Re: Green "Systems OK" Light Not Working

The Clusters 'Systems Monitor' has 8 tell-tale indicator lights,..... 1 of them is "OK to Go." Upon Start-up, the other 7 lights will turn on as a Bulb Check. All these lights will turn off 1 at a time until all are dark and then the "OK to GO" light will turn on again.

If any of the other 7 indicator lights doesn't activate on Start-Up,...... replace the bulb.

If any of the other 7 indicator lights is still active,... the OK to GO light will not turn on.

The Systems Monitor can not set engine ECM codes.

Check the Brown wire at the Alternator plug and the CHOKE wire. You might have disturbed them while working on the carb.
