Swapping full 1985 V8 harness into my 1983 V6 body... wiper wiring?

Swapping full 1985 V8 harness into my 1983 V6 body... wiper wiring?
Picked up a complete L69 setup removed from a 1985 T/A.
Harness is uncut and the plan is to unplug my V6 harness at the firewall, plug this one in, and put the V8 in. (as well as the passenger side harness down to the V8 ECU).
Only issue I think I have is my wiper motor since it's the old style. I've read it sends power through the switch instead of the newer style which is wired up differently.
How can I interface the newer harness with my older car without swapping the column and all that?
