GTA Digital Dash Problems
So I've been having a few issues with my GTA's digital dash that I've finally been able to get around to fixing, though before I try and do any real work to it I wanted to try get some opinions and pointers from here so I don't make a very expensive mistake.
My first issue is when the hatch is open or loose the information center doesn't "notice" and won't notify me (not that I need it but it would be nice if it all worked). I think the issue may be that the hatch in my car isn't the original, as it's missing the third under-spoiler tail light and is a different shade of red, so I'm wondering if part of the sensor is missing?
My second issue is a little more complex, the odometer and trip computer don't work, and neither does the switch to switch between english and metric or for average (in fact the average switch never worked). All it does is flash all eights, then nines, then it goes blank and repeats the cycle. Very rarely the odometer and associated fucntion switches (except for average) will all come back on and work, with the exception of the sixth digit and varying segments in the display.
I would really like to sort this all out so if anyone has any tips, pointers or help it would be greatly appreciated, as google hasn't been very helpful on this one.
