87 Firebird Trans Am tach issues

I have a 1987 Firebird T/A with a 305 V8. No matter what I do the Tachometer dosent move it stays at 0 dosent move at all. Ways to fix this would be nice also what type of wire fuses ect involves fixing it

Axle/Gears: EATON POSI 4.56
A Tach The Problem

If the needle never moves a tick even when you’re starting the engine, most likely the tach driver has a bad connection or went defective.

That means you would have to open the dash and start probing.

Make sure 12 volts is getting to the movement.
