Not charging and gauges all messed up

Car: 1986 IROC
Engine: Custom 383
Transmission: T5
Axle/Gears: 4.10
Not charging and gauges all messed up
Looking for any help possible. Heres the problems I am seeming to have:
Alt gauge starts at 10v at key on to under way under 8 with engine running
Tach starts at 3500 at key on to 7500 when under load
Temp gauge doesnt seem to be operating
After 3 starts battery seems to be dead
Also the choke light seems to turn on at weird times(idle, under load, cruising) nothing constant though
Any help is much appreciated

I would check your f/p fan c/h fuse because i was dealing with the battery on my camaro not charging because the alternator wasnt getting a signal to charge the battery. the signal wire that tells the alternator to charge the battery runs off that fuse on mine. just throwing out an idea. also what RBob said. The fuses might be corroded.
