No wipers... troubleshooting ideas?

The wipers don't work at all on this old girl... I was sure they did when I purchased the car out of a field but right now I've got nothing. Wondering if someone could toss out a few first steps to check. I have checked all the fuses (as the labels are worn off) and nothing was blown.

Here are a few remaining issues... maybe they are connected? Eventually going to have to work through these too but I've started my search with the wiper issues as most important.
- no low beam headlights
- no dash lights
- no volt gauge
- no speedometer
- no washer pump

Of a 40+ item list including a new cam and timing chain I only have electrical left! And... it's not really my area of expertise. Thanks for any help!

With the wiper unit unplugged, key in the ACCY position, and the wiper switch in the HI position, use a voltmeter or test light (the type for testing for voltage, not a continuity tester) to probe the pink, dark green, gray, and purple wires.
Which wires do you have power on?
