Wiring switch to radiator fan

i have a 92 bird with the 3.1. Trying to wire a switch to the fan and because the fan comes on 225 and i want it to come on earlier. I cant seem to wire it directly to the relay for the fan to come on. Any suggestions?

You can also have your memcal (computer chip) reprogrammed to lower the on and off temps.

Re: Wiring switch to radiator fan

my fan does not work by itself. it should come on with the a/c but it doesn't. I do know that when the green/ white wire for the relay is grounded the fan will kick in. I'm sure its my cts but idk where its at. so I just added a switch to ground that wire.
