Engine: 305 TPI
Transmission: 700R4
Axle/Gears: 2.73:1
82-89 Tachometer Component List?
Anyone have a full list handy of all of the components on the 1982-1989 Tach / Oil control board?
I repaired the open condition on my resistor chip, between pins 4 and 10. I had no continuity. And the gauge did not move before.
The gauge now pegs out at the 7k mark with the new resistor, so I am thinking next will be that .0033uf cap that Morley pointed out in his thread.
While I have it out, again, I would rather just replace all of the easily removable components, basically everything except the IC chip. I am probably even going to go with standard resistors and pull out the film resistor chip altogether.
Would like to place the order for parts without having to remove the tach again, but worst case I'll just pull it out and leave it out until I get the parts and it's replaced.
