Horn Not Working

So after a long series of trial and error to figure out why my ACC fuse kept blowing I realized my horn wasnt working. So I took of my steering wheel and reattached everything and now my fuse isnt blowing but my horn doen’t work and when I press it it dims all the lights; dome, dash, headlights, etc. Please help!

Hornswoggled

Apparently something is miss-wired in the horn circuit.

Remove the knee bolster.

The relay is to the right of the steering column.

Use a voltmeter to probe pin J on the relay.

When you press a horn button the voltage will go to zero if the button is working.

Connect a voltmeter to pin J of the horn relay, (you can remove the relay and probe the socket which might make it easier) what is the reading on the voltmeter?

Now press the horn button on the steering wheel, now what is the reading on the voltmeter?

The wire from the horns to the relay goes from the horns to a connector located on the left side of firewall below the relay bracket.

It’s a
16 AWG dark green wire.

From there it goes to pin K of the relay.

Happy Racing !
