Wire location and function.
Wire location and function.
Guys first off this forum is a great source of knowledge for our thirdgen! I've got a 87 iroc-z that I got off a guy that has set for the past 22 years. Well rats have eaten most the wiring harness and other plastics. I have replaced both ecm and power harness on the car but I'm not getting any power to the gauge lights or the SES or other warning lights. I do have a pair of wires the previous owner gave me that he had removed, I can't figure out where these things go. They are two big red wires(10-12ga) they come down into a fusible link with a bulb fuse in it. Then a black wire with red stripe comes out the end of the fusible link. Any help with what this is and where it goes would be awesome! I've searched for the past two days before posting.

Looking at a schematic for 85 gauge which should be similar. There is a pink/blk stripe wire that goes from the gauge fuse to the back of the ip. This is a switched ignition/accessory power.
