TPS adjustment 5.7L TPI
Good afternoon gentlemen,
So I have been taking the fresh build TPI 5.7L 350 / .502 roller cam / 64CC valve, 90-95 ZZ-4 Crate motor out on the road for trial runs. The throttle is pulsing a bit in the throttle department. Right now the TPS is set at .5
Fuel pressure gauge is still attached and is fluctuating between 48-49 LBs to the rail. Its easy to see because I'm still running it without a hood right.
The prom was set for .6, but appears to run extremely rich at that point. Driving has its anomalies as well. The TPS likes to hang as I am driving it. Once I come up to the stop light she is a bit above 1000 RPMs before it settles back down.
What do you guys suggest? Also has a bit of a flat spot when I accelerate. Out of the hole it responds well. Torque convertor is 1800-2000 with heavy duty springs. Rebuilt by a torque convertor specialty company in SLC, UT.
