stock 1987 TA fog light brackets with blazer fog light lense swap. I had H3 35w HIDs and they were too bright and glare was insane so I never used them. I’ve upgraded my turn signals to LED and they aren’t very bright so I got the idea for turning my fogs into fogs with a switchback function to act like turn signals when I wanted them too.
Took forever to find anything that would work, ended up being on eBay and had to come from China. All switchback H3 bulbs require them to be turned off and then on to activate. The amber and then on and off again to go back to white... so it’s like being able to have amber or white but only constantly and not like a blinker. So I found what looks like the only one anywhere on the planet and ordered it. Took 3 weeks to get here but I installed and very happy with the outcome. They are actually too bright and are almost as bright as the HIDs lol but it is what it is. I have trouble aiming them due to the lense hitting the bumper but I’m gona leave it.
Im a lighting freak so all my cars have insane headlights and other lighting. These work very well and are very bright. Here’s a video of them working.
Damn, I really like that. How hard was it to install?
not hard at all. They are H3 bulbs so they fit into the stock housing bulb holder. I drilled out the back of the housing for the back of the bulb to poke through. The connections would plug into the stock H3 wiring harness and then just run the turn signal trigger to the front blinkers and your done.
