Voltage go down to 12v when driving (random)
Hello,
last week, my 84 305 quadrajett camaro Didn’t started after 2 hours of driving. I jumped the car, charged battery and all was ok. Today, i was driving and the voltage go down to 12 volts. Thé alternator was rebuilt 5000 miles ago. The battery is a bit old, but it charged full with my charger without problems. The problem is random. What to check first?

sounds like the alternator is going in and out check connections to battery and alt stud. I had a similar problem recently and my alt stud was spinning freely making a flakey connection going in and out
