Kent moore terminal trays

Hi

can someone explain the difference between the tray numbers for kent moore terminal ?
its what 19 out of 99 ? What is different between tray 15 and 22?
and the names ?

I’m looking to buy a tray of terminal to rewire some stuff in the engine bay and came across those but i cant find anything about the names and numbers...

if you guy have any place/brand that sell a tray with just terminal let me know i would like to buy something in bulk instead of buying single package....

Re: Kent moore terminal trays

You have to know what you're trying to repair to purchase the proper materials. Sumitomo must be a specific connector, or something. GM has used many different connectors, which use different terminals. You can't just blindly start buying stuff and hope to accomplish anything. There is no "engine fuse box" in a third gen. You need to tell us what you're trying to repair, or do more research.

Re: Kent moore terminal trays

The C100 uses Metri-pak 280, 480 and 630 terminals, non sealed. There are 6 wires sizes per series. Engine side are male terminals

Re: Kent moore terminal trays

The trays cover a lot of different wiring terminals. Pretty sure when I looked into going that way, there were something like 6 or 7 trays for the common GM connectors on a thirdgen. They're expensive, and as a general rule, the trays that a thirdgen enthusiast would want, are the same ones that most shops or technicians aren't looking to part with. Lots of goofy trays like the Sumitomo sets can be found on Ebay because they're uncommon.
