New Third Gen F Body Taillights Design

Hello, I’m on a quest to attempt to have a cool new refreshed thirdgen taillights & headlights 3D molded and designed trough a manufacturer using a cad model however I need need some help with the exact dimensions. I have scoured the internet trying to find exact measurement & dimensions for both head & taillights but to no avail. Would anybody have this info on hand ? (Please ignore the extra camber on the design it’s not mine, obviously )

Headlights on these cars are yerbasic sealed-beam units from the past. Just go to AZ and buy a couple and measure em.

Tail lights are a different matter... here again, best thing to do might be, to just buy some.

I gotta agree, that … Camaro-based thing … in that photochop, is pretty heinous. For that matter, those particular tail lights don't … do it … for me, either. Which is not to say that something couldn't be made that would; only, that those, DON'T.

Fully-contained headlight housings that drop-in would be interesting, like on new cars today, similar to BMW e36 housings that some people have converted to, but sloped to match the front of the car.

A lot of people seem to like the headlight covers for 3rdgen Camaros(pic below), so the front lens of the housings could slope like the headlight covers(clear, not tinted like in the pic). The housing could drop into and fill the entire bucket area, fitting flush with the slope of the nose of the car, like the covers do. The housings could contain HID projectors(single beam or bi-xenon) for low beams, LED projectors(or reflectors) for high beams, and LED DRLs.

Headlight cover pic from the internet:

And not meaning to get off-topic, but while searching for the headlight covers, I found this pic. Anyone remember the louvers? Would've been cool if motorized--closed by day, open by night. Or maybe they were?

I thought about buying headlight covers for my car (L69 Z28), until I realized that those places are the engine air intakes...

I like that design for the tail lights. Good luck to you on this. Buying a set of tail lights from a wrecking yard or eBay will be your best bet.
