Alarm buzzer going off non stop

Hi,
i have an irocz 1986 which i removed the seat to clen the carpet. I disconnected the battery so having the door opened will not drain it. When i reconnected the battery again, the buzzer for seatbelts, lights on etc began to buzz without the key at the ignition. Essentially, i have to disconnect the battery to stop it.

i followed the manual trouble shooting and found the “convenience assembly”. I did the lamp test and the green cable connector failed to light the lamp. I removed the green(square box with 3 teeth)switch at the convenience assembly ( it was actually buzzing). My question is if i just disconnect the switch will that harm or drain my battery if i dont fix the circuit? Is anything else will be affected if i just remove the switch? Thanks in advanced!!

Cruisin’ For A Fusein’

To find out use an ammeter in line with the applicable fuses.

The Audio Alarm Assembly is powered thru 2 fuses.

The ACC fuse, and the Gages fuse.

Happy Racing !
