Headlight power wire

Hey everyone. I'm a new member to the site, but I've used this site as a huge help to my camaro the whole time I've had it seeing as I dont have a manual.
That being said. A while ago my headlight switch gave out so I replaced it, but my headlights still didnt work, so what I did was hard wired the switch to the battery with a fuse line, then ran that to the headlights. In doing so now I cant turn my brights off. I figured I ran it to the wrong wire. So before I start chpping more wires I figured I'd ask if anyone knew which wire would be the appropriate wire to switch to be able to switch my bright on and off?

Sorry long post.
