Question 1988 Trans Am headlight motors
On eBay I see some sellers listing replacement headlight motors for 87-92 firebirds/trans ams as being “left or right“, these are NOT interchangeable,correct? There is a left and right side specific motor.
how do you tell which side is which looking at the listings?

there is a thing sticking out bottom of motor on the side where electrical wires enter. it points to the side it is on

Typically Left Right terminology for car parts is based on if you were sitting in the car. But I find alot of ebay listing mess that up and the picture may not be of the side listed. I would message the seller and confirm if its the American Driver or passenger side.
